Hidden Finds of NYC

If you're craving a PBJ sandwich, authentic fish and chips, or an Elvis-themed drink, look no further than NYC.

Peanut Butter &Co is an awesome place to get any kind of peanut butter sandwich that you can think of - my personal favorite would be "The Bee's Knees" sandwich - peanut butter, apple butter, and wheatgerm - sooo delicious AND heathly for you! http://ilovepeanutbutter.com/sandwichshop  It's a must-see in NYC!

The next uncommon place would be A Salt & Battery downtown.  It is the place where British ex-pats go to get authentic fish and chips, which I'm told by my English fiance that they are "spot on jolly good".  It is right next to Tea & Sympathy, which is a tiny restaurant filled with British goodies.  It's locates on Greenwich Ave between 12th & 13th street.  The best thing on the menu, in my humble opinion would be sole and chips (think really thick fries) with curry sauce.  It's sounds bizzarre, but it's killer! http://www.asaltandbattery.com/home

The last one is my all-time favorite!  It's called Trailer Park, and the name really says it all.  It's a kitchy trailer park-themed restaurant down on 23rd street and 7th ave.  It's the type of place where Elvis is everywhere, the food and drinks are cheap, and you can get both tater tots AND champagne in a can!  I highly recommend the Double Wide burger with tater tots and the Lovers Concerto  - Elvis accompanies your drink!!  You really can't get much Klassier than Elvis cocktails!  http://www.trailerparklounge.com/

There are many more restaurants and lounges that are off the beaten path to come shortly!!  Happy Hunting Everyone!
